Web Creation Team

A number of students have been involved in the development of the Waihi College web site under the direction of staff member Mr Barrie Trotter up to the end of 2006.  These students did such a great job the site remained largely unchanged for 2007 and 2008.

In 2009 Mr Troy Smith joined the computing team and is bringing back the idea of using students in development of the site.  Watch this space as we bring the site in line with WEB 2.0.

The idea of using students in the design and management of the site is fundamental to the school philosophy of giving ownership of school life to the students.
