Fees and Expenses
Waihi College (NZ) 2012/13 Fee Structure
Tuition Fees will be effective to July 2013. Other fees are subject to change, and are confirmed on application.
Tuition Fees - (includes tuition, administration, uniform, subject costs, GST and Govt Levies)
Home-stay Fee - $210.00 per week (Subject to annual review)
Pastoral Care Fee (includes airport pick up and delivery, Pastoral care setup, and other incidentals)
Outdoor Ed fees – (Includes all outdoor education costs such as Camps, Travel, Accommodation, Equipment, Food for all events and may be variable depending upon the length of time, and season the student is here for) Outdoor Education operates as an academy and may occur both during and outside class times.
Insurance - with Uni-Care as desired

The IELTS exam fee is set by Waikato University and is currently (2011) at $365.00. This may be pre-paid if the student intends to sit this examination.

If a student decides not to include the Outdoor Ed option, then they would be expected to make payments when required for any of these activities. This would be on a pay as you go basis. Optional Extras can be arranged where there is sufficient interest, and are not included in the fees. |

| Year 7 Camp | acting as camp leaders for Year seven Students Camp |
| Year 13 camp | For student enrolled in Year 13 |
| Year 12 Geography | Trip to South Island to study the high Country landforms, and complete a tramp. |
| Year 12 Biology | rip to Marine reserve at Goat Island, Snorkelling, boat trip to Island bird sanctuary |
| Tourism | Trip to Rotorua, experience some of the tourism activities there |
| Farm Unit | Trip to Mystery Creek Field day, Paeroa Sales, Kiwifruit Packhouse |
