Spirit Day 'MAYHEM' a Huge Success
The 2012 Spirit Days began on on the last Wednesday afternoon of Term 3 with the entire school packed in to the school hall. After the formal karakia, a video of the history of Waihi College Spirit Days made by Whitney Comrie and friends was shown and then followed with the infamous staff lip sync.
Empire shows too much flair in house sports.
Inter house netball on Thursday and Football on Friday has been a great way to get out and enjoy two sunny days after all the rain in the last few weeks. Heaps of House spirit, skill and fierce competition was obvious during both the netball and the football. Plenty of supporters had some good chants as well!
