Waihi College students cooked up a storm at the Waikato Culinary Fare at the end of Term 2, taking home more gold medals than any other school attending the prestigious event. Alongside the glittering golds, our talented team also collected an impressive number of silver and bronze medals across multiple categories.

Waihi College enters the Culinary Fair every year, with students putting in months of effort throughout Term 1 and 2 to prepare for the intense competition. The event features a range of categories, including cake baking and decorating, savoury pizza, a live dessert, chicken dish, and a new live dumpling challenge and mystery box.
