Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce you to our amazing Board of Trustees by sharing a little about each of them and the passion they bring to our kura. As you know, our Board of Trustees for 2026 consist of: our Presiding Member, Tineke Iverson, our Parent Representatives Victoria Menary, Gemma Barden, Cat Sole and Karyn Williams, our Staff Representative Tracy Te Wake, and our Student Representative, Stuart Hartley. It will be great to get to know them all better and support their visions for our kura. This week, get to know : Tracy Te Wake

As a mother of four Waihī College alumni and grandmother to many mokopuna, I am deeply invested in our school’s future.

I am proud to combine my experience with my passion for helping youth reach their potential, while ensuring there is a staff perspective represented at the Board table.

I am a confident communicator who values diverse perspectives and am always     prepared to navigate the necessary conversations required for effective decision-making. I keep my focus on the big picture: guiding our school, supporting student success, ensuring safety, and upholding our financial, legal, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi  obligations.
