It was a pleasure spending two days last week with my Level 3 Outdoor Education class on our final trip of the year. I was so impressed with the organisation and preparation, done entirely by them. The choice of route, hut and evening summit walk (Thanks Luke) was a perfect trip to end the year. Three summits this year; Mt Pirongia, Mt Te Aroha and Mt Baldy. The crazy wind and views ranked Baldy as the #1 for me.
