Last night’s Onya Awards, hosted by Hauraki District Council, shone a warm light on the incredible people who uplift our community every day. These awards celebrate those who care for one another, protect and nurture our taiao, and bring energy, colour, and safety to the place we call home. They acknowledge our community champions — the ones who make a positive difference in so many meaningful ways.
