Magnificent grounds: - They used to be a golf course and are very spacious
33 metre swimming pool: - and heated for longer use
Gymnasium: - Just renovated and improved
Farm unit: - over 8 hectares in size, including kiwifruit, cows, gardens, nursery and machinery
A hectare of native bush: - beautiful tawa, totara, rimu, silver fern.
Well equipped library and Information centre, a mezzanine floor with computers providing free internet access,
Special education unit for students with special learning abilities
Whare wananga: - Dedicated to the memory of a past student.

What You Can Do Here
Outdoor Education is pretty popular- they go kayaking, tramping, camping, mountain climbing, abseiling, mountain-biking, learning survival skills.
You might even get to do black-water rafting, scuba diving, rafting, skiing and snowboarding.
In the holidays there are tours of the South Island.
Weekend trips to nearby cities.
Surfing, swimming at the beach or local hotpools.
