Despite a foggy start to the day, the sunshine soon broke through, creating the perfect setting for another fantastic Waihi College and Katikati College School Sports Exchange. The annual exchange once again highlighted great sportsmanship, friendly rivalry, and plenty of school pride across all sporting codes.

Our netball teams had an exceptional day, securing five wins from six matches, while the Year 7/8A basketball team also produced an exciting three-point victory. Across football and volleyball, our students continued to display determination, resilience, and positive attitudes against strong Katikati opposition.
A huge thank you goes to all coaches, managers, officials, staff, Alexis, Ana and supporters who helped make the day possible. Most importantly, thank you to all of our students who represented Waihi College with pride, sportsmanship, and respect throughout the exchange.
