That’s a wrap on Day One of Spirit Days!
What an awesome start! We had fantastic school spirit on display today, with the sun shining and plenty of action happening outside and in the hall.
A huge congratulations to our Best Dressed students — the effort that went into some of this year’s costumes was seriously impressive!
1st Place: Our undefeated King made out of Monster cans
2nd Place: The incredible Eyeball
3rd Place: Our Angel
4th Place: Gru’s Crew, complete with their car and characters!
The competition didn’t stop with the costumes. Students got stuck into Tug of War, Gladiator, The Big Squeeze, Poi Patu and the Water Run, with plenty of laughs, competition and school spirit along the way. Such an awesome effort from everyone who dressed up, participated, cheered their mates on and helped make Day One such a success.
Stay tuned for more Spirit Days action tomorrow! As always, all of our photos from the day can be downloaded from the School Photos section of the Waihī College website.
