Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce you to our amazing Board of Trustees by sharing a little about each of them and the passion they bring to our kura. As you know, our Board of Trustees for 2026 consist of: our Presiding Member, Tineke Iverson, our Parent Representatives Victoria Menary, Gemma Barden, Cat Sole and Karyn Williams, our Staff Representative Tracy Te Wake, and our Student Representative, Stuart Hartley. It will be great to get to know them all better and support their visions for our kura. This week, get to know Victoria Menary.
Kia ora koutou,
I have been a parent at this kura for six years, and all three of my children go here now. I am a teacher at Waihī Beach School where I teach year three and four students.
I am also a founding trustee of Youth Theatreworks Waihī where our kaupapa is to provide a safe and inclusive space for young people to explore the Performing Arts.
I joined the Board last year because I am passionate about education, inclusivity and serving my community.
