Congratulations to the following students:

Hunter Pert had flown over to Bendigo, Victoria, Australia playing Inline Hockey for the Bendigo Cup 2024 with his club Bendigo Blaze u11 and u13 teams. The 13U team finished their tournament placing 5th overall. The 11U team is a novice team with many playing their first tournament and placed 2nd in Plate Finals. Hunter was the lead goal scorer for the team with 38 goals and was awarded the 11U Division MVP voted by Team Coaches. He was also selected for the 2024 11U Aussie Roos Team heading to the 20th Anniversary State Wars in America in July 2024.

Stanley Anderson who competed in the 10km Rotorua Off Road Trail Run at Redwoods last weekend. Stanley competed with adults and came 3rd overall with a time of 46:08.

Vans: We would like the BOT to keep funding the use of our school vans. A reminder that we must look after it or lose it.

You can help us do this by removing all your rubbish after each use. Van drivers to check the van prior to departure and on return (to check for any damages to the interior).

Special thanks to all our volunteers for your support with events and transport to make it happen for our tamariki. We appreciate you.

VOLLEYBALL

Last Tuesday we were lucky enough to have Keith Marsh from Tauranga Volleyball come over and run a coaching session for all our volleyball kids. Keith also runs coaching sessions with the New Zealand development team in Auckland so we hope to see him a few more times this term. All our volleyballers including myself and matua Greg took something away from the coaching session, what a success.
