If so, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join us as the School Property Manager at Waihi College, with the possibility of starting as soon as possible or by 28 April 2024, at the latest.

As the School Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our school’s facilities. From overseeing building maintenance and repairs,  to managing facility budgets and coordinating with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspection of school buildings to identify maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of school facilities.
  • Manage facility budgets and procurement processes
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing and electrical.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
